Four20 NFC Bottle Guide
Find the published Four20 NFC bottle steps: check the seal, tap the tag with a compatible phone and follow your bottle’s AssetCellar instructions.
Connect your bottle to AssetCellar
NFC means Near Field Communication. An NFC-enabled phone can read a nearby tag and open the link stored on it. Four20 presents a connected bottle experience through AssetCellar; follow the information provided with your particular bottle.
Follow the published bottle instructions
- Check the seal. Begin with the bottle’s seal intact, as directed by AssetCellar.
- Tap and open. Bring a compatible NFC-enabled phone near the bottle’s tag and open the notification link.
- Follow the linked steps. For an unclaimed bottle, AssetCellar’s published flow includes entering a tamper-evident hidden code. Its claim page also supports entering a bottle ID manually.
Phone compatibility, tag activation and the available bottle record determine the experience. Use the tag and instructions supplied with your bottle rather than assuming the same tag location or workflow for every bottle.
What if a tap does not open a link?
Check that your phone supports NFC and follow its manufacturer’s instructions for reading tags. If your bottle provides a bottle ID, the AssetCellar claim page offers manual entry. If you need help identifying the correct instructions, contact the team with the bottle details and your phone model.
